The Policeman at the gates told me that the only way to find out if I needed a permit would be to arrest me and let the courts decide. I didn’t want to push my luck and end up with an ASBO so I left it at this.
Fortunately I wasn’t arrested but I did have my photo taken by lots of tourists.
I still don’t know what a demonstration is and the Police don’t seem to know either, but I think it helps if you’re a girl.
